Somatiq Rhythm is built on the belief that true wellness begins when you reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence.
My approach combines biomedical science with somatic awareness, creating a holistic path that bridges the physical, emotional, and energetic layers of health.
I draw on the latest research in immunology, neuroscience, and behavioral health, together with naturopathic principles that honor the body’s own healing rhythm. The goal is to help you restore balance, not through control, but through understanding and connection.
Because every body is unique, the guidance I offer adapts to your needs, whether you’re strengthening your immune system, restoring hormonal balance, or rebuilding daily habits that truly support you.
This work is about more than sharing information; it’s about helping you develop the awareness, tools, and confidence to live in alignment with your biology. Through mindful practices, somatic movement, and evidence-based insight, I’ll guide you to take charge of your well-being and return to a rhythm that feels natural.
founder of SomatIQ Rhythm
Meet Finoula,
I’m Finoula Maestre Osorio, a Biomedical Scientist, certified Yoga and Meditation teacher, and holistic health advocate dedicated to helping others live in rhythm with their bodies.
With a Master’s in Cancer Research and a currently ongoing PhD in Immunotherapy for Cutaneous Melanoma, my work is deeply rooted in biomedical science, but my path has always extended beyond the laboratory. Alongside my research, I’m also studying Naturopathy, exploring how natural and somatic practices can support the body’s innate capacity to heal.
Living through chronic illness (Lyme Disease) and witnessing how lifestyle influences disease and recovery inspired me to bridge the worlds of science, mindfulness, and embodied awareness.
Somatiq Rhythm grew from that integration, a philosophy of living that honors both the analytical and the intuitive, the cellular and the emotional. Through this work, I aim to share tools and practices that empower you to reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence, restore balance, and cultivate lasting wellbeing.
Where science meets soul - and healing becomes a rhythm you can live by.
What I believe In …
Every moment is an opportunity to observe, learn, and realign with your body’s natural rhythm.
I believe in building simple, sustainable habits: small steps that, over time, create real transformation. Healing and growth don’t come from perfection, but from consistency, curiosity, and compassion.
Technology can be a tool for awareness rather than distraction: a way to track your rhythm, tune into your cycles, and stay accountable to what truly supports you.
I believe in feeling fully: allowing emotions to move through the body instead of holding them in. Even on difficult days, softness and self-expression can be forms of medicine.
True wellbeing isn’t about constant positivity or endless productivity.
It’s about balance: learning to rest when you need to, to move when you feel ready, and to prioritize your health above the noise of achievement.
Life is a science – and you are the experiment.
Some days, self-care looks like breathwork and movement. Other days, it’s staying in your pajamas, watching your favorite show, and allowing yourself to simply be.
There’s no single formula for living well, only the one that feels right in your body.
My work is about helping you find that personal rhythm: letting go of what no longer serves you and creating a life that feels meaningful, healthy, and entirely your own.
Healing isn’t about doing more — it’s about learning to listen better.
My pillars for healthy living
My Story
My curiosity for science and the human body began when I was five years old. My parents gave me a microscope for Christmas, and I spent hours peering through it, examining everything I could find. I’d hide under my bed with it after bedtime, completely captivated by the hidden worlds I could see through the lens.
That same curiosity grew into a lifelong calling.
At ten, while other children played in the library, I was drawn to books about illness and healing, trying to understand why people I loved could get sick, and why my grandfather’s cancer had taken him so soon. Years later, when I lost my grandmother, my best friend, to cancer, I made myself a promise: to dedicate my life to understanding this disease and helping others live in ways that support healing.
That promise became my path. I studied Biochemistry, completed a Master’s in Cancer Research, and I am now pursuing a PhD in Cancer Immunotherapy.
But as I journeyed deeper into science, I also began living with chronic illness, and I realized that true health is not just biological, it’s emotional, energetic, and deeply personal.
To bridge these worlds, I studied Yoga and Meditation, and later began training in Naturopathy, seeking to understand the whole human system, not just its cells.
Through that integration, Somatiq Rhythm was born: a space where science meets somatics, and where healing becomes a rhythm, not a routine.
The Evolution of a Dream
Before Somatiq Rhythm, back wen I was studying my master in 2018, I created a small blog called My Science Closet, a place where I shared recipes and how food could have an impact on our health. At that moment, I still had a long journey to go until I finsihed my studies, so I wanted to find a way to already start helping people… and though maybe sharing my knowledge was a good way of starting.
Over time, that space evolved with me.
As I worked with mentors and deepened my studies, I realized that what I was building wasn’t just a blog, it was a philosophy of living.
And after hundreds of branding names changes, styles, messaging, offerings, trial and errors..., kind of my own experiment testing…
Somatiq Rhythm is the continuation of that vision, bringing together education, embodiment, and awareness to help others create a lifestyle that feels healthy, calm, and fulfilling.
To the Healthy Life Dreamers
This space is for the dreamers, the ones who want to live meaningfully, not just productively.
For those learning to listen to their bodies, to build balance without pressure, and to live with intention rather than intensity.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to live in rhythm.
Just begin where you are, stay curious, and trust that your body already knows the way.
Because life really is a science — and you get to be both the researcher and the masterpiece.
